Everything else is saying they are in talks or interested in buying Cabelas. If you read the article it states that an employee heard about it but doesn't know for sure so the title of the article is misleading so this may be nothing more than irresponsible journalism on KULR's part and so far, ONLY KULR is reporting that they did buy them... All other local and national press is saying that there is interests in buying them and not that they sold to them... Neither Bass Pro nor Cabelas has acknowledged the rumors... So, till I see some concrete proof from other medial outlets, then I don't believe it... Not saying you are wrong, just not buying it, yet...

Competition is a good thing for the consumer/ you and me I am not surprised at all by Bass Pro attempt to buy Cabelas... Cabelas stock is down 37% this year and it reported $1.2 Billion in revenue last year while Bass Pro made $4.3 Billion (estimated by Forbes since BP is privately held and does not have to disclose that info)... Sounds like Cabelas is poorly managed... Weird how everyone online seems to think Cabelas is better when it apparently is not according to the revenue reports... I like both stores and hope they don't buy them out, but, if they do, then I only store I see closing in Indiana is the Portage Bass Pro since it is a joke and the Hammond Cabelas store is only 15 to 20 minutes down the interstate...
