When something isn't in season we sure are quiet in here. What is everyone up to this summer?? I'm coaching my son's baseball team, fishing, and got back into the gym to shed some lbs. Whats everyone else up to???

Forgot I'll be thru Valdosta also. Family vacation to Madeira Beach in July. Valdosta is a place I'd mind never staying at again. In college we played a spring tourney in florida and stayed overnight in Valdosta, the hotel was a little shady to say the least. One of those places you don't sleep under the covers. Never liked the place after that. I'm definitely envious of the college world series. That's on my bucket list but I want to wait til my boys are old enough to remember it.

Former college basketball teammate of mine is an optometrist there and his wife and I were best friends in college so I go down every year to see them. I have always wanted to go to college world series so I said what the heck lets go. I am off all so lets go. Also going to see Buffett a few times this summer.

Working in garden, playing with honeybees, and doing a little fishing.

I am doing 4 weddings this summer, mission trip for 40 teenagers, Taking my kids to camp in the U.P., and squeezing in some fishing and food plots in there somewhere.

Running my business full blast so I can afford to do some hunting trips this fall & winter.

Planting & maintaining food plots.

Hoping to make time to do a little fishing at Cataract.

My daughter is getting married next week in Maine, so I'll be up there for a few days.

Unfortunately this site is dead even during the season. Social media has taken over most forums. This is my 12th year on this site and it used to be this is all we had !!

At least on here you don't have to deal with hearing about people's laundry, literally and figuratively!

I want to spend as much time in a camp, boat or canoe as I can this summer and catch some fish. Like to do a couple overnight float trips and limb line when it gets good, new deep freezer needs filled. Getting a crossbow and leaning Excalibur, shoulder rough...getting older.
