Going on 8 months without....this is hard....after 40 years. Any other success stories??

(I edited...dunno why I put 9 months. Oct 20th was my last cig)

No success story here because I quit in my late teen, but hang in there!

Quit in 1987 and never regretted it. It took 10 years before I quit getting that urge every once in a while, especially when I got a whiff of someone's smoke. Hang in there! h.h.

Just a social smoker now. Or stress.. Went 10 years with out a single one.. Stick with it bro.

Been 19 years now.....i don't believe i'll start back up

It's been 8 days for me. I've smoked for 20 years and decided to quit. It's not been to bad yet but I'm sure the struggle will come. The one thing I have noticed is I sleep a lot better.

I've been of the habit for over 20 years. Still get the urge after a good meal, but think about all the dollars I have in my pocket. No more brown scum on the inside of the windows of my truck that I have to clean off 3 or 4 times a year.

Been eight or nine years since I had a cig.

It gets easier! I quit 6 years or so for me I think??? Dude I quit drinking 3+ years ago......now that's a head trip

I'm still smoking but thinking of quitting. All you guys are definatly my idols. Keep it going Weed you'll be proud of yourself.

Gilley,,I smoked for 40 years. If I can do it cold turkey,,so can you!

Or use something to ween you off.....like nicotine lozenges...that is what I used.....and spend a lot of time in the woods or in the water
