Will depend on whether the Indiana Supreme Court hears the States appeal.

any idea when they will decide to hear or not ?? if they dont, whats next ......

No timeline yet...it's up to Attorney General and the State Supreme Court...nothing can probably happen before then...the injunction is still in place so the 4 preserves keep operating as is...Senator Pete Miller has a bill to ban the preserves...didn't get a hearing this year.

Defeating this bill was the work of everyone who wrote or contacted their legislators and the Governor.

It's an important issue but remember I am a bird hunter. When I hunt deer if it's brown it's down. Someday I won't be driving down to the statehouse every week to watch these clowns don't do something REALLY stupid.

I sent an email to Becker and she voted against this bill which is what I requested of her. So thank you Mrs. Becker State Senator from Southern IN Evansville, IN region.

My senator voted for it after I and others contacted him numerous times. I'm going to find out why. Very disappointed in his vote. Happy for the outcome.

I am absolutely in that very large group of people who think that high-fence hunting is un-sportsman like, inhumane and generally stupid.

That is precisely why I vote YES. Make no mistake, this is the closest we've came to a ban on this activity in a decade. This bill was significantly amended to limit this to 4 100 acre facilities currently doing business. No new facilities allowed...Further, the bill would have imposed regulations and also gives the DNR jurisdiction to oversee these.

The bill failed on a close vote, now we have no limits and no regulations.

Yes, I heard her testimony. She was very vocal about it being unethical and why she voted yes.

I think many voted that way. what they DO NOT realize is the deer pimps will use this bill as leverage to get more and more farms. They have been quoted as saying such and the "non-four" farms are going nuts and will push for legalization for them.

Who where the 4 that switched their votes and voted against the bills amended version?

Senator Raatz called me today to explain his yes vote. I was surrounded by 15,000 bees and only got the voicemail. I have his cell and he will be getting a call back.
