Commercial Fishermen Take TONS of catfish Out of the OHIO RIVER in Indiana and Kentucky and Sell them to be Pay Lakes to be exploited by them for Gambling on who catches the biggest they are exploited TWICE once By CF and then again by Pay lakes This is a Publicly owned resource managed with our tax dollars for a few ,, WHY There were laws sent to the Natural Resources Commission to be preliminary adopted by our legislature.. They were pulled before the Governor had the chance to sign off on them WHY?? get hold of your legislator or any one you know that can get word to the Governor.s office and ask them WHY.. PLEASE

i will contact a couple of legislators who i know and see what response they can provide, if any. if you can find out who gets the commercial permits, which has to be public information, that will likely tell who drove the outcome. you follow them to their legislators.

Big part of the problem is Kentucky. There are very few commercial fishermen in Indiana but a ton in Kentucky. We need this rule NOW to protect the resource and we need our DNR patrolling the Ohio to keep the commercial fishermen of Kentucky from taking our fish.

Anyone who ever fished for cats needs to get on board and help save our resource.
