Once again it's time for the annual Antlertalk.com Deer Show. This year’s show will be held on March 9th from 9a.m.-5p.m. at the Rolling Hills Shrine Club located on state road 7 in Jennings County IN. The shrine Club is located approximately 4 miles North of North Vernon IN. Last year we had a great show with over 400 people and 100+ deer heads. This year is sure to be bigger and better. Antlertalk.com is finalizing plans as we speak to give a couple of turkey hunts away just like last year. Details coming soon. Deer Scorers will be on site and vendors will be present. Some vendors attending will be seed dealers, bow dealers, crossbow dealers, custom call makers and taxidermists just to name a few. Bring your deer head to hang on our WALL OF FAME. Entry fee is $5.00 and that comes with a chance to win a hunt, kids under 12 are FREE. Come see some of the biggest bucks ever killed in Indiana. For more info call 812-592-2502/812-592-0493......email fullrut05@yahoo.com/ctstjohn@seidata.com. Below is a link to last year’s show.

Just got off the phone with Joe Ream of Blackcird Creek Outfitters in Missouri and he has graciously donated a turkey hunt once again. Last years winner killed a good bird and had a great time with Joe. Joe's outfitting business has been featured several times on North American Whitetail television and he has one heck of an operation. We will be giving several door prizes away and once again we will have Lucky Buck for sale. Hope to see you all there.

At 1:00 Mark Eberts of Just Deer Taxidermy will be caping out a deer head. For any of you who have ever wondered how this is done now is your chance to witness it firsthand. This could come in very handy if a person goes on an out of state hunt where the animal harvested needs immediate attention and no taxidermist is available.

Great idea and I wish I could see that. You should use a hd camera and film it and post it on your website.

YES, Supposedely, I have been in contact with the owners camp and they are saying yes. I hope it is because I have a friend that has live pics of it and would love to see them compare pics with the rack.

I went to the show today and there were some nice deer mounts there but I don't think it was worth the $5 admission.

Had a great time today... Nice seeing some of you guys again.... Sorry I missed you Brew...

Funny to see my mount got some people talking today....LOL

Was kinda bummed that my buck missed the Hoosier Record Buck Program by 1 measly inch but I'm still happy with the rack....

At the show today there was just under 500 people. What a great time with friends as usual. CONGRATS to Brew on winning the Missouri Turkey Hunt. No the Big Oaks Giant Found buck wasn't there. The gentleman who was going to bring it had an emergency and couldn't make it. I didn't get a chance to see all of the deer brought in because it was just too packed, however I did see a 179" 10 pt. from Big Oaks, 4 180"s non-typs, and 2 mid 190"s typicals. Its amazing to see what comes out of the woodwork at this show.

Thanks to all who attended and we look to make nexts years show bigger and better.

AWESOME, is all you can say about this 190"s net typical. Anybody recognize the guy holding it? Its Mathews Professional shooter Charlie Owens.
[Linked Image]
Here is another awesome taixdermy display by Jeremy French of Little Bear taxidermy. The skull mount is Jeremy's Pope and Young 181" and the forked G2 buck is one of my 2012 trophies. Thanks for an awesome job Jeremy. If anyone recognizes the guy in the Underarmour shirt they should. It is professional hunter Henry Reynolds.

This buck was the first one in the door Saturday morning and I knew as soon as I saw it that it was a Booner. This buck was killed in Big Oaks in the 60's and netted 175" WOW!

Here is another 180"s.
