Typical river fish I would imagine-catfish, drum and carp primarily I would suspect. That area accesses the back side of the IPL power plant dam across the river and has always been a hot bed of fishing activity. Many of them are hispanic. They are fixing to put a boat ramp in there.

To many Mexicans there for me caught a few crappie there where the water comes over the little dam. Caught some big shad on crappie jigs there also. Talked to a guy that said he has caught walleye or saugers there but said they tasted like mud when he cooked them
Huntin is not a matter of life and death, its more important than that
