So what happens to your coyotes now? Do they ship them back to you?

no they stay until they sell...however long it takes. No getting fur back from NAFA....

Gilley, I had 5 coyotes sell in the early January NAFA "holdover" sale. They had them since last year. I got a whopping $15.00 total for the 5! The profit sharing check Dad and I split was $34.00 (16.00 each)!!! LOL!

Chevy, I have 6 really good late winter coyotes there now. Got a few coons there also. Haven't looked to see if the coyotes sold or not. Good luck on the coons!!!

Guys, someone has to think of a new business model for the use of furs.

They must be only selling the best of the best on the coons. Kind of glad I sold most of my coyotes local this time. I may have rolled the dice right for once! Couple of my hold over coyotes brought a $1, and $2!! LOL Its like Charlie and were talking about the other day…..prices are not going to slow me down any though…..varmint control 1'st, $$ 2'nd.

Delaney I'm working on that as we speak. So far it appears tanned furs sell great. I've already sold all my personal collection of tans I did. Next year I will have a buyers license and will buy to tan.

cabelas sells tanned yotes and foxes for $200 ea. Coon go for about $99 for people to hang on the wall. These are not select furs either.

Minnesota trapline sells them also, Cabelas is a distributor for them.

I've seen those on Cabelas too Chevy. Its had me thinking about selling them like that for a while, just got to get pse to tan them for me. Got a buddy that owns a gun shop and I gave him a fox, coyote, and coon I stretched last year just to hang up for decoration. he said people ask him all the time about buying them. Think that's gonna be my goal next year.

Gilley I will tan them buddy. There Is a market for them but there also is tons of people that sell tans. The whole reason I started brothers in fur is cause I wanted to setup at flea markets and sell tans. Unfortunately this year I have already sold almost all my collection. I get 35_45 out of tanned coons 100 for coyotes with feet on and 60-75 for Fox. I'm sure people will pay higher prices but that's just what I feel comfortable charging.

Sent the first 4 coyotes we put up to NAFA in early January. Check out the top one!!!! Bottom coyote did not sell, and it was the biggest @XXXL. Looks like I guessed wrong by selling local late. Oh well!

Wow those are very good prices for this area yaz. I'm kind surprised it's that high.
