here are some wolves just as reference for size.

A coyote next to a wolf is Nothing. Wolves are massive in person and even then tend to be exaggerated in size until you put them on a scale.

this one went 120lbs

I would LOVE to have the opportunity to trap or hunt and kill just ONE wolf!

Went bear hunting a few years back in Ontario. We seen more wolves than bears. Tags were pretty salty or we would have bought some.

Put the 'yote on a rise and sit 4 feet behind it..... Trickography......Ive never seen a Indiana yote much over 50(this pic isnt from Indiana), I called in and shot one that weighed 52 lbs and trapped one that went 48...I'm sure a few go larger in this state, but not many, the largest are in the Dakota's( and farther north)....for the trappers/coyote hunters on here, what is the largest you've shot or trapped ??

Yaz & Bean, speaking of wolves, you can legally hunt them in three western states now. Wyoming, Idaho, & Montana. While moose hunting in Idaho last fall, I picked up a wolf tag....just in case. Unfortunately I never saw a wolf. But between hunting and trapping, they're killing about 300 wolves per year now in Idaho. The non-res tag is only $30.00 and you can get up to five. You can also get a trapping license and trap up to 5 more. It'd be a worthwhile trip just to hunt wolves in the winter.

Don't know where the thread went, the OP may have deleted it....was not admin.

Sounds like a great road trip. Ontario tag is $266. Had one guy see wolves about every night. One night he seen 5 bears and 3 wolves.
