While driving through atterbury today I came across these two fellas that were in the road. They didn't mind me being real close either. Sure are some colorful birds. Saw a hen near this same area last year.

Sure miss the days when I lived in West Lafayette and hunted almost every day of season for these birds.

I presumed that they were put and take birds. First roosters I have ever seen on that side of Atterbury. Even driving through there a few days a week I don't see near as many as I would think.

Jack they were over near the POW chapel. Just south of it.
