Talked to a Buddy out in Neb, and he said the weather has been cool, Rainy, And the Birds are still Grouped together, and are responding to Some calling just Not real aggresive. He has set out a few Decoys on a couple Hunts with very little Interest,Put out 2 hens and a Jake, and then also hunted without decoys, with little to no Difference. I told him are season still has a week away, and I told him we have had alot of Rain Latley, and this Cold front is hanging around, Making are weather Cloudy, Cool. Well atleast we still have a Few Days to Push this Front Out, and hopeing will get some warm weather and it stays around for opening Day. I told him I still would rather be in the woods, than here at work.

Yep its probably going to be tough, it has been slow across the board I think. Tenn. Was pretty slow, but I think we may have a chance I saw 8 toms and 11 hens early in the week and 2 days ago in the same area I saw 4 different groups so I think they are splitting up. But its better than work for sure.

I can't help but think it will be better than last year where everything was 1-2 months ahead of schedule...

call it wishful thinking, but... I'm wishfully thinking/hoping that will be the case.

Either way, it will be nice to sit on an agricultural farm rather than in a cubicle farm. I can leave the gun/bow in the truck and still have an enjoyable day...
