First time to NOT get selected for Big Oaks archery. Both me and my buddy blanked!

Got Big Oaks Archery Oct 26-27 and Gun Nov. 9-10.

Sweet... I got picked for Atterbury on 11/30 and my buddy got picked for 12/1

Hopefully a double dose of Atterbury!!!!

I got denied for everything except the one I really wanted. The October muzzleloader at BOWNR. Should be fun. Now I just need to find a partner with a side lock.

Found out I was drawn for the Big Oaks Archery hunt but when I clicked on the details button to find out the information it showed no results. Being that I am a newbie to these hunts, how do I go about finding the information on this hunt? Dates, ect.? Is there anything else I need to do in regards to preparing for this hunt or do I just show up? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I have 2 sidelocks. But if it were me I would hunt with fullrut.....better mojo

Do you have a hunter education card. If not, take the online class. It will greatly improve your chances of getting drawn.

I get at least one of the park hunts about every year.

If you don't get drawn there, show up for the standby draw.

You are about guaranteed a spot then from what I have seen

FYI if you're looking at the results with an IPad or IPhone it may not open. Look at site from a computer or open a different browser. Should be accessible then. FYI my iPhone let me look at them. I got Crane and BO

Got drawn for Big Oaks on Nov 4 and Deer Creek for Nov 13-16. For sure I will be heading to deer creek but not sure of Big Oaks, may be out in South Dakota pheasant hunting at that time

I got drawn for Crane Naval on 11/24/13 and going as a partner on 12/1/13 to Camp Atterbury and again as a partner on 12/15/13 to Muscatatuck. All firearm deer military/refuge draw hunts-Muzzleloader only at Muscatatuck! Can't wait!! No luck on the archery Big Oaks this year for me or my hunting buddies. Oh well maybe better luck on the State Park reduction draws coming up, good luck to all this year and be safe.

Deer Creek must be tough to get into. Among the 6 of us who put in on three different dates all were unsuccessful. Me and my pops were drawn for Atterbury on Dec 1. Going into BO as a buddy on 26-27 Bow and Nov 4 with a gun.

I got in to Big oaks for gun the last weekend and going as a buddy the first weekend. Didn't get into the archery for this year, but might go down and hope to get in as a no show. I'm guessing those would be the best days to try?
