Hey all, I hope ya'll are having a good season so far. I am doing more hunting this year than I have in years past, especially during firearms. I was curious if anyone has or does reload their shotgun slug shells. I used to reload shells when I shot trap in high school but haven't really heard of doing it with slugs. Wanted to get your opinion.

Its hard to load slugs that shoot with accuracy like modern rifled or sabot slugs do and by the time you buy all the components the cost is about the same. Reloading shotgun shells isn't as cost effective as it was in the past. If you are still interested go ballisticproducts.com and they have all the components and info. Good luck, h.h.

I watched a video on YouTube with bubbaroundtree outdoors and they reloaded rifled slugs. The jig cost $20 idk what slugs and powder cost I thought about tryin this as I will probably never shoot a rifled barrel with sabot slugs. I like it cheap and simple when the slug gun

for the prices of slugs (rifled or sabot), it may be cheaper ( and less of a headache)to buy new .... hard to beat the accuracy with a rifled barrel and sabot, esp when you find the combination that goes together ...
