Has anyone hunted there before? Any idea on better places than others to go? Neighbor got drawn and is taking me with as buddy and we are only gonna be able to get out there once before our draw to look around and figure out where to set up.

I hunted there the first weekend they ever opened up for the reduction hunt. I counted over 600 shots while sitting on my stand before 9am on the first day. Most had their 3 deer that day in less than 20 minutes.

It is a dusty skeleton of a hunt now compared to what it was.

I also got drawn, this year and last. 2 out of 3 of us didn't even see a deer in 2 days. One buddy killed a couple does that were spooked from another hunter. There are definitley deer there, but it's so hit or miss.
