Seeing fawns and a set of twins often. It's my first year with cameras so nothing to compare.
All the turkeys that wintered on the property are gone. Not one pic of them after May. I'm not sure if the raccoon population is too high ?

Here it seems to be very few this year. On the trail cams we are seeing maybe one fawn for every 5 does, or less. Might be able to tell better in the fall when the fawns are more visible. Lots of turkey poults though. We had no rain here from mid May to mid June.

Saw on fawn run across the street outside of Nashville yesterday. Lucky it didn't get hit by a car.

Great pics. Our fawn numbers are way down this year. 80-90% of our does are alone. Coyote sightings and cam pics are way way up. I thought at first the fawns weren't big enough to be seen in the beans/fields but now I know that is not the case.

Mad seen a few really little deer that had no visible spots Sunday when I took the oldest on a squirrel hunt. Really weird. But I also have seen fawns in November with visible spots

The 2 fawns I seen seemed big for being fawns, If it had not been for the spots I would of thought they were yearling's.
I also have seen fawns in Nov with spots, Just a timing thing as to when the does were bread !

Seen just 1 set of twins around here all summer. Several mature does alone. Several as in like 5-6. I was told that the reason there are no fawns is that there are too many deer and the does didn't breed. I don't believe that. I have as many yotes on cam as I do deer. Never been this bad in our area. None will change my mind that yotes are not part of the problem. Time to take them out.

Hey agree to a point. However there is nothing I can do to improve habitat really where we hunt as it is owned by farmers. So therefore the only thing I can do is take out the coyotes.
