Alex Gyllstrom, Marketing Director, Whitetail Properties will be the featured speaker.
Growing up in Southwest Michigan, Alex is no stranger to tough hunting conditions with heavy hunting pressure and small acreage. Raised in a hunting family, he cut his teeth learning from his father, uncle and being a sponge to every written word and VHS tape about hunting whitetails he could get his hands on. After graduating high school he went to college to play baseball and pursue a business degree. Over the course of his college career he learned as much as he could about photography, videography and making contacts in the hunting industry; completing internships with multiple hunting companies. After graduating, Alex spent time as a field producer getting to film and help manage some of the best farms in the country with multiple hunting shows before transitioning into the manufacturer side of the industry for six years. Currently he works as the Director of Marketing for Whitetail Properties. Alex proudly lives the lifestyle of a diehard whitetail hunter and a manager of wildlife. In addition to being 20 feet in the air during the fall and winter his passions are introducing others to the outdoors, being involved with church organizations and activities, writing for various hunting magazines and simply spending time outdoors with family and friends.
