Just curious to know when fields are safe to brush hog without walking them?
Found a little feller 5 ft from the trail cam yesterday.

May not be a truly safe time, but I think most fawns are born by mid June. I've had the same issue with turkey poults. Accidentally ran over several of them one time while mowing a lane.
