My wife and I were able to purchase our own property on Monday. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be possible but we closed on the deal Monday. We are not the proud owners of a log cabin on 20 acres of woods in Northern Henry county. I know it isn't a huge place but I will actually be able to hunt on my OWN property and this should insure that my son always has somewhere to hunt! Last night we drove by the house and there were two does feeding in the cornfield across the street. I knew that deer were using the property and the current owner told us she sees them almost daily but until you see them with your own eyes it's always a little hard to believe. We hope to be moving in the next couple of weeks and then the real work begins. Stand location, trails, food plots, etc etc etc but I wanted to share my excitement with everyone. A big thanks to Bucknducks for pointing us in the right direction and helping our dream become a reality!
