Hey guys, just want to say congrats to all on same great bucks and stories. My sons and I passed on a total of 11 bucks over the first three days of season. They were in rut chasing everywhere on opening day. Finally on Monday Am my son tagged a nice 8pt 165 pounds. The interesting thing is every rack we saw, mostly small ones were broken up. We saw one other nice 8pt with the right side main beam snapped off about three inches up. I guess a heavy buck population this year. I was looking for the one busting them up but he never showed. lol. We hunt private land in jasper county. Well good luck to all and here's to another good season.

I took a really nice buck that was missing half his rack in Fulton county... Shot him while he was chasing a Doe... He easily weighed 200 plus pounds and was at least 4 to 5 years old...

He might have been bigger than the 10 pointer I took from the same field around 4 years ago...
