Went out Saturday and shot a doe at 8:08 and she ran 20 yards and fell over all the other does ran. Went to a different woods in the evening and saw a monster got busted coming in sat there and he never came back. Went out Sunday and saw a super small doe and an ok doe so I shot it after watching them for 10 minutes and then then I called my parents and sat back down I heard a deer making noises and the one I shot was on the ground trying to stand up I shot it again and I hit the guts good thing was when field dressing the lungs were split so again another deer with a humane shot. Then the little doe went crazy and a buck came out at 160 yards and ran after the doe and stomped her face in the ground and at that point it was 130 yards stood up and off hand shot and it jumps and ran 60 yards and crashed. Climbed down and went to the field and reloaded walked to it about 10 feet away I pulled the hammer backed a went to the buck slowly and poked it and it did nothing but bleed more so i set my gun down and counted the point 10 pointer small ten but a great first buck picked my gun back up and walked home saw a coyote while walking but I did not care I had to drag these deer the the bean field so the corn stalks would not make field dressing it harder. Got my parents and went back to the buck got it out to the beans and then went out to the doe. Turned out to be a button buck but still a deer. Dragged it to the beans and then started fielddressing. Split the heart on the buck and the lungs on the button buck and the second shot the guts. Ugh that stunk!! Got my buck to the taxidermist since it was my first buck and then the does in my freezer letting the buck hang for two days. Will have magnum hunter put up my pictures since he is better at that lol. Super good weekend and out the hunt next weekend for yotes while my grandpa deer hunts. Hard work in the summer = filled freezer in the winter!! All deer were killed with 44 magnum and with a humane shot
The day I stop hunting is the day I stop breathing.
