Human babies are being chopped up so Planned Parenthood can sell parts. No one cares.

A dentist kills a lion and everybody loses their minds. Incredible.... frown

I'm just taking a wild guess, but I would surely think they would have bigger concerns they could be addressing. Aggravating cool

It's so frustrating to see so many people and media outlets lock on to what are actually trivial events, take sides with half (or less) of the facts, and cause such a stink when there are more important humanitarian issues in our own country that they don't care to address. Same bullsh*t time and time again. I'm sure every time the commercials asking for donations for starving kids in Africa play, there's a starving kid here in the US asking themselves why no one cares about them.

I'm not personally big on exotic trophy hunting, but then again I also can't afford it, so it's easy for me to say, but as a hunter, I do understand it. There are lots of aspects the antis are ignoring or are ignorant to.

He trusted the guides and outfitters he hired. He's being called a coward, yet, lions are very capable man killers and he chose to get close enough to hunt it with a bow. Even the natives wouldn't do that if they have a rifle to use. His payments to all the people involved provide a livelihood for those people and pump money into the local economy. His payments for license, permits, etc. contribute to conservation efforts. He's being criticized because he didn't use the meat, but those people are ignoring the fact that, by law, the carcass goes to locals and every bit of it is used, much like Native Americans used every bit of a bison.

Lastly, many of the Americans that are going nuts about it are ignoring that fact that 90% of Zimbabweans don't care, don't see what all the fuss is about, and actually take into account the control of the lion population (reducing the threat of lion attacks), the money, and the resources from the lion carcass. You have to actually search for the stories that report on the Zimbabweans asking why Americans care and why they don't care about all the villagers killed by lions this year, but the stories about the evil American dentist who cowardly killed a beloved lion are in our face everywhere.
