Could someone let me know who I need to talk to volunteer at the state fair booth? I have been unable to attend any meeting this summer.

DNR needs your help at the Indiana State Fair

We're looking for some IMNS to serve as program hosts at the state fair. You will get tickets to get in for the day.

Your job is to make announcements using the speaker system in the DNR building and help program presenters get tables set up, materials in where they need them, etc. and introduce the presenters. You need to be comfortable with public speaking and comfortable working on own, although there are lots of good DNR people there to answer questions if you have them.

If you live close we would like you to come one day for training, then a second day to serve. But if you live far and can help and can learn on the spot that can work too. Email Jody Heaston, jheaston@dnr.in.gov if you are available ASAP!

Days we need help FOR SURE
Thursday, Aug. 8 from 9am-2pm and then 2–6pm
Monday, Aug. 12 from 9am-2pm and then 2–6pm

We could USE help on
Saturday, Aug. 3 (2-8pm)
Friday, Aug. 9 (9am-2pm and then 2-6pm)
Sunday, Aug. 18 (9am-2pm )
