coyote hunting - 12/31/2014 07:06 PM

Brand new to hunting & calling coyotes. Just purchased a low end Primos electronic call at Bass Pro that has 12 different sounds. Will be hunting with my brother and his young grandkids. I have no idea what sounds would be most productive so any! help is greatly appreciated. Would like to get the interested. Thanks cool

Indiana... 85-90% time, rabbit squeals.
Start low volume, work your way up as needed.
PS> I'm no expert wink

Good luck to y'all

Called one in today. Used cottontail distress. I called for 20 minutes before he came in. Like Bowbo said start soft in case one is close and then slowly increase volume. Try to hunt with a crosswind. A coyote will circle and try to get downwind of your location. Be sure to set your call 30-40 yards away from you. This will focus the coyote attention off your location.
