not going to be good from all I have heard, maybe $1 to $5 range and many of the early blue to small ones won't be worth anything.

It is going to be a good year to just trap for fun and try something new.

There are 700k unsold coons sitting at NAFA now so this will only drive prices down more. They just cancelled an auction due to so many worthless coon sitting in their warehouse...

Dear Wild Fur Producer,

After thorough consultation with our agents and buying customers in Russia and China, we have elected to not hold a September 2015 auction. Unfortunately, the market for our largest unsold inventory, which is raccoon, has not moved in a positive direction since our June sale. We feel it is not in our best interests to have an auction under these circumstances and potentially set a more negative tone for this important article.

We will be creating a September catalogue of all unsold wild furs, such as raccoons, beaver (mostly small sizes), lynx cats (better qualities) and all other unsold articles, including ranched silver fox, which will be made available online. Our sales department and international agents will aggressively pursue every opportunity to make Private Treaty Sales.

Workshops have been planned in China for the end of September/early October where we will concentrate on the promotion of our unsold wild furs. All of our agents will have our unsold catalogues so that at the moment the market shows a positive break, we can act quickly.
