Squirrels Gone - 09/18/2019 01:30 AM

Hey guys..not sure what happened to the squirrels in my county but they are gone! Very few and I mean very few are alive. At my home I have blacks, always some in the trees around my house but this year they are none...not one have i seen. My property in Allen county is loaded with hickory and acorns and plenty of fox squirrels but this year I saw one in two woods. The nuts are laying on the ground untouched. Trying to figure out what happened to them and it had to be either the -18 degrees a winter ago or the tremendous amount of rain this spring. Something killed the squirrels in Huntington and Allen county......not all but a majority of them. Has anyone else noticed this up here in the north? h.h.

That's odd. I'm not up north, but here in central part of state, in Vigo & Parke counties they still seem to be doing well. Both grays and fox seem plentiful on my farm. I'm not hunting them this year, but have a couple places where they're constantly setting off my trail cameras.

I have plenty of gray and fox squirrels to share with you. We are overrun with grays here at my house.
