As if I need anything else to carry into the woods. But I seen it at Bass pro the other day while buying some new blades for archery, and I bought it. When my son killed his first deer last saturday, I used it. Joe is RIGHT ON with this product, its a staple in my truck now. Great product, worked like a charm. Well worth the nine bucks people...

Bowbo - it has a stop plate on the shaft so you don't stick it in too far... apparently there were some owners of the original that didn't think about stopping at the T-handle... laugh

I don't have one, but am working on a prototype that does the same thing, only automatically ties off the canal and cuts it... initial model will have a squeeze handle, manual option... will sell for $19.95

Model II will be automatic, electrically powered from a rechargeable DC battery, with status LED lights, and a small audio chip, which will play "Love Me Tender"... will sell for $79.95 wink

I don't get it either...Do you pull it out after you have disconnected it on the inside? Seems to me if you pull it out and cut it off, everything is still inside the deer. What am I missing? WAIT! Unless... you pull it out, cut it, tie it off, and push it back through...that would make sense i think...lol

Someone make sense of this for me because I would really like to stop splitting the pelvis.

Powder, I was a little confused myself, but I had to have one since JB said they were so great. Used ours today on a doe. Follow the instructions and it works great. Somehow it cuts the membrane around the anus and then holds onto the membrane so you can pull it out and tie it off(it is already cut). Works slick. You do have to wash it off afterwards.
