Goose sandwich spread - 06/05/2013 12:25 PM

5 breasts(single), grilled and I used some hickory chips
Grind up in food processor and add:
some mayo
some olive oil
Chesapeake Bay seasoning
Mrs. Dash original
Tabasco sauce(Avery Island)
I added seasoning to taste and mayo/olive oil to compliment taste and spreading ability.

Hmm may have to try anything to make em edible, I usually just make tons of jerky and breakfast sausage.

I would say this is pretty good, nice rye bread toasted, hard to eat just one..

I'd have to spice the heck out of geese to eat them and I'm not sure that would even work. But, I might shoot a few this fall and instead of giving them away, try the recipe.

Yes!!!!!! We've got a bunch of big frogs located that we are going to do the same thing at midnight. Heck, it doesn't even get dark until about 10 anyhow. Actually, my wife has suggested we freeze some legs this year but I'm not really good about that because I think they get a little tough when frozen. I think we've got about 70 to 80 keeper frogs scouted out. Good luck!
