Grass Carp - 04/08/2007 08:37 PM

Anyone have any information or experience with these? My friend has a pond that is constantly overgrown with weeds and he's too lazy and cheap to constantly add chemicals. I've heard some good things about them. Any input?

I have had them in my pond for years now. When they are small they're great........all they do is swim around and eat. Once the get big (and they do get BIG) they seem to get real lazy and don't do much. I caught one on a piece of bread last year that weighed 43 lbs. Those oldest ones we have are about 7 years old now. I personally wouldn't put anymore in my pond
