Hey guys...I have been looking into trading my break-action diamond arms 410 shotgun for a pump-action shotgun. I'm thinking I will still have to pay a little money for the new 410 but probably not too much. anybody know any good pump-action 410 shotguns that have a reasonable price?? also, i know this is a rifles and pistols forum but still...tell me what you guys think thanks

I honestly think you should keep your .410,,,and graduate to a 20ga. Save your money and pick up an 870 Remington Express...you are big enough to handle it now, Evan. This shotgun would last you for years.

Keep it.. when you are our age you will have wished you kept it. Listen to sound words of regrets....

That's some cool history you have there, so I'd recommend you keep it too. From the brief looking I did on the web, it was a hardware store gun sold in the depression era, give or take a decade so it's old. If it shoots modern length shells and doesn't have a short chamber you're good to go with modern 410 shells. I had an old 12 gauge Lefever that had short chambers and fired 2 1/2" shells, so I got rid of it for that reason as shells are hard to find. You could try to trade it but any lgs will probably offer you around a $40 bill. And that would be probably be double what someone paid for it new long ago. Might as well keep it.
Your 410 could have proof marks such as elg which means a Belgian manufacturer. Could be a Stevens, just depends on who got the contract that year. If its in good functioning condition, enjoy it. Sounds like a fun little squirrel gun. If it has any case colors left on the receiver that's just gravy!

to be honest the only thing wrong with my 410 is it doesnt shoot right. if you are aiming at a squirrel or rabbit you will miss it because it shoots in a tight pattern and high to the left

I say keep it as far as I knew guns didn't sell once a guy bought one never sold one and don't plan on it I agree you will regret it one day Heck for the 40 dollar trade in I will give that to you and you can pay me back when you get a good job
