The month is here and it's almost time.....gates opening at 4pm July 29th for the Archery Bonanza! Farmland Conservation Club will host its last normal open archery shoot of the year on July 30th. On the 29th will will be running a free fishing derby. Also on the 29th and 30th we will be having a long distance money pot shoot off, a 10 target 1 arrow "Smoker Round" and a hunters challenge 2 arrow target shoot for a chance to win an Ameristep Ground Blind( ground blind being drawn for giveaway is different from hunters challenge)After the sunsets on the 29th we will take to the range for a 10 target "Coon Shoot". Free camping and firewood is first come first serve. Anyone coming to camp that will be arriving after 9 pm will need to contact myself as the club is a gated facility and the gate will be closed for security reasons.
On the 30th we will have breakfast available for our hungry campers and lunch starting at 11. The shoot Sunday will be a shoot and concurrently running RANDOM BLIND draw money shoot. Cost of the shoot is as normal $15.00 with the option to "buy in" to the money pot. The pot will pay back 100+% and number of places paid out will depend on number of shooters to participate. 1-5 shooters pay 1st place. 6-10 pay 1st&2nd 60/40 split. 11 and more pay top 3 at a 60/30/10 split.
So cost will look like this
Coon shoot $5.00 Smoker $5.00
Hunters Challenge 2 arrows $1.00
Long distance shoot $1.00/1,$2.00/3 or up to six arrows for $3.00
Main shoot on the 30th is $15.00 for adults youth 12 and up are $10.00 cubs are free and as always S3DA,4-H and NASP clubs shoot at a reduced price. This shoot is the shoot we do our big giveaway for the year. Lots of potential items to be given away this year from like Ameristep, Ani Logics Outdoors, Antler King, Big Game Treestands, Big&J, Buck Bomb, Buck Commander, Carbon Express, Dead Down Wind, Goldtip, Hunters Specialties, Icotec, Knight & Hale Game Calls, Primos, Tinks, Top Secret Deer Scents, Trophy Ridge, Vanetec, Wildgame Innovations, Western Rivers and more. Please come out and join us for what is sure to be the best shoot of the season.
