Man that sounds like fun! I have not been there yet, have you? I’ve been waiting for something like that to open up in Indiana so I didn’t have to drive all the way to Evarts KY.

I will see if we can go, only problem right now is my trailer is not road legal. Looking for a new one, but I might be able to work something out.

Bear.

Bear, you will need the DNR stickers, kinda like watercraft, except its 30 dollars for three years. There are actually two State areas now, one is Interlake and the other is Redbird, both in the Southern part of the State. Interlake is still free, but Redbird is 10 bucks, this goes towards trail maintenance, and up keep. If your into seeing what Indiana has to offer or would like to get involved in helping with getting new trails opened, visit these two sites:
www.discoverindianaridingtrails.com
www.atvwithcutter.com (go into forums)

Let me know if you can make the ride, there will be some great OHV people there to ride with.

Recon,

Already got my DNR stickers as we do allot of road riding where we live.

Sounds like a blast, I will have to see if we can make it, I promised my daughter we would go squirrel hunting that day, so we’ll just have to see.

I never visited redbird because I always felt like they had too many rules and regulations, specifically about double riding on a machine meant for one person. Almost always have my daughter and friends with us.

Thanks
Bear.

towed just because of radiators were clogged and over heating..the mud was like sticky clay...I kept it cleaned for the very reason.

Re: January 3rd ride - 01/05/2009 09:26 AM

Just fine, went over some pretty knarly stuff. I asked Sam how he liked it and he just grinned, as he was putting down the windows when the rain came...lol....carried a can off gas and cooler with no problems. Thats at Interlake, where most trails are wide, but it seemed to do just fine, isn't fast by any means but went anywhere I did on the brute.
