Well My Wife is CHEATING On Me - 07/25/2008 06:22 PM

I don't have alot of friends or anyone to talk to, seems like there's alot of nice people on this site that I'd like to maybe meet one day on the trail. So lately my wife has been working alot of evening shifts, and for the past couple months has been carpooling with a male co-worker. At first I didn't mind, I would rather have someone with her in case she has car trouble or something like that, but it seems that they have become a little bit more than friends. You know the scenario, the phone calls that hangup, she starts wearing nice clothes to work, talking about him all the time, etc. I don't know what to think. If I'm out in the garage when she gets home (usually after midnight) he just drops her off and leaves, but if the lights are off in the garage and I'm in the house (they think I'm sleeping) they sit out in the car for like twenty minutes. I asked her once what they were doing, she said "just talking"....whatever. So last night I decide that I'm going to see what really goes on out there. I leave the garage door open, but turn out all the lights. About the time she usually gets home, I go out and hide in the garage and wait. In a few minutes, his car pulls into my driveway, and I'm hiding behind my 4 wheeler. When his headlights shine through the garage and onto my bike, I see something that I just can't believe. One of the rear upper shock mounts is slightly bent. My question is, Do you think I should weld a new shock mount or try and bend the old one back into place?

Another good version!

Here is the way I posted it a while back.......

Dear Abby,

I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice.

I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs; constant phone calls on her cell phone, phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. Further, my wife has been going out with "the girls" a lot more recently under the guise of “Bunco”, or a “Basket Party” or some other such nonsense that no one would really be involved with.

I tried to be at the front door when she comes home, but I usually miss her coming in, as I am upstairs watching a hunting show on my 100” HDTV projection system with 7.1 surround sound which makes it a tad loud to hear her when she drives up to the house. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her and there was not an outdoor show on.

So, around midnight, I decided to hide in the garage behind my hunting gear so I could get a good view of the whole street when she arrived home from a night out with "the girls".

When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse, which was open, she scrunched her hair and straightened her skirt, then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on. It was at that moment, crouching behind my compound bow, that I noticed that the cam system was a bit rusty and the bow string a bit frayed.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the bow shop where I bought it?

Signed,

Perplexed

Ha ha Well you sure caught me ! I would suggest that you try to bend the bracket back and if the weld cracks, reweld it. Or you could get rid of the 4 wheeler in a yard sale along with your ex-wife. laugh

You got me in trouble Chris. I sent this to my sister in law, but added my wifes name and tweaked the story a hair. Well evidently she sent it to my mother in law who must not of read the whole thing, or she just didnt get it. She showed up at the house yesturday evening wanting to have a sit down and talk. My wife looked at me like what the **** is going on. Pretty funny stuff.

That is hilarious Eli! Me and my faithful wife are laughing our asses off. Tell you mother in law to chill out, and that everything is OK. Pretty funny thread though isn't it. It had me fooled the first time I read it too.

That's funny Eli!!! I wish I would have thought about changing the story a lil bit before I sent it to family members. My family would have probably reacted about the same way.
