28 gauge o/u - 12/31/2012 09:23 PM

Any suggestions on a o/u in 28 that won't break the bank. I want to shoot some on the weekends with it. Nothing that is needs to take hundreds of shells a month! I have a 28 BPS and going to set up a reloader and want to get an O/U to mess around with.

Thinking about a Stoeger Condor. Not terrible expensive and seems functional.

Others include a tristar, stevens 512 and mossberg silver reserve. Are there others in that less than $800 range?

Suggestions welcome!

Not sure either, but I think you are correct...just saw the ad and passed it on. Might be hard to get parts...bummer.

If you are looking at NEW 28ga. O/U's and want to stay at less than $800 I wish you the best of luck .
Consider a CZ , or a SKB . Hunt the used gun market , with some luck you can find older Rugers , Brownings , Berettas , and Winchesters in the $1200 range .
Remember the Yugos ? Lots were sold because they were cheap . And folks got exactly what they paid for .

I bit today on a CZ Woodcock at Gander Mountain that was new. Beautiful little gun. Can't wait to get it out and shoot it!
