Found this little gut balled up 5 feet from the trail cam. I then went back and carefully checked the pics and found him the second time. Have a bunch of pics triggered by birds and butterfly's.

Flush chains might help.

About 15 years ago I bushhogged over one around this time of the year. Didnt know it until I made the next round. When I saw it I almost puked, chopped up into big pieces hanging together by skin. I stopped mowing then and to this day I dont mow until after the 15 of July but Im mowing crp ground not hay fields.

Flush chains are a great idea and easy to make. Use pipe the length of the mower attached on the front of the tractor with a piece of heavy chain every 2 ft hanging down to the ground. A cow bell or two attached on each side for added noise. They work good. h.h.
