No more digging under the gate so the skunk problem seems to be under control.....lol
There are a lot of farms in the area with dogs running loose so who knows. Could be a coy or a yote that's shed his coat. Thats a big dog/bitch in the picture and you can bet I will be after his/her butt come season. It looks to be a female to me. h.h.

It probably looks like that since it has it's summer coat. They will get thicker and fuller when it comes later in the year. No matter how many we snare or shoot there are 3 more to take their place. looking forward to running the snare line again this winter.
That's a female coyote HH. Notice how all the hair is missing off her belly? She nursed a litter this spring. Plus, she pulled a lot of hair off her tail for the den. Males typically don't get to looking that nasty. Should have caught her last winter....now you got more work to do!!!!
As far as the polecat.......what Delaney said!!!! :p
No videos of skunk releasing for sure! If the skunk stays on the outside of my electric fence he will be fine but diggin under will get him a date with a 220 conibear.....
That female is probably the one that got out of the snare last year. Wont be long now and the game will begin again. h.h.
