My son got his 3rd bird of his hunting career this morning at 8:30.
2 big toms came in to our decoys at about 25 yds and put on a show.
He had to shoot over my back so I had to bend over and cover my left ear.
He shot the biggest one which the other wasn’t much smaller.
10 3/4” beard
1 3/16” spurs
Weight? Don’t know forgot scale...in my experience I’m guessing 23 ish
This is his final youth hunt for turkeys....next year we will be on a level playing field 😁
