Does anyone on here have experience planting persimmons I found a couple variations that drop in august to October and some that drop from November to December was thinking of planting both also been kicking the idea of planting apple trees maybe 4-6 apple trees and 2-4 of each kind of persimmons the persimmons are suppose to probice within 2-3 years thoughts?

Just make sure you fence them off for a few years or deer will eat the apple buds and leaves off and bucks will rub the bark... Trust me I know...

I've planted lots The deer ate all but the ones I fenced next to the house and one that had blackberries grow up around Had one produce at 6yrs Anouther at 7 and 7 or 8 either males or not producing yet And I'm talking 2 or 3 hundred planted

Mine have been planted for a while. Got over 400 bags of pulp off of them this year. They are also seedless. My uncle who has since passed grafted them prob. 30 years ago.

Pay a little extra and get some from Stark Brothers. They will replace for up to a year for free.
