small food plots - 06/29/2013 04:08 PM

There is 35 acres of corn behind this small plot. The standing soybeans will be the big draw during late season.

black oil sunflowers, brassica, and some rape are mixed in to the small strip right of the soybeans

The small strip between the corn and sunflowers will be planted in oats, rye, and peas this fall to add more diversity.

Looking good. After some rough conditions last year with the drought, this year it's starting to look like we might actually get enough rain to grow some food plots (and maybe some crops too)!
