Wildlife Habitat Land? - 07/26/2016 02:42 PM

I was talking to a guy today who told me wildlife habitat land is going up from $1 an acre now to 13.50 an acre starting in 2018. This is a big increase at 134% an acre. Anyone have any info on this? h.h.

If you mean the assessed value for property tax purposes....

There may be a small increase in taxes as a result, but not huge. They tax me 5.00 per parcel now, which could increase a few dollars, depending on the size of the parcel. See link.
