Conservation Officers serve search warrant on unlicensed taxidermist, locate indoor marijuana grow operation, methamphetamine, multiple fish and wildlife violations.
(Kendallville) Indiana Conservation Officer’s served a search warrant on the residence of Jason A. Maxston at 110 W. Vine St. in Kendallville on the afternoon 05/15/2013.
Conservation Officers received information that Maxston was performing taxidermy work without a state license. Conservation Officer’s served the warrant on Maxston’s residence and an outbuilding located on the property.
Conservation Officer’s discovered an indoor marijuana grow operation containing approximately 30 marijuana plants, a large amount of processed marijuana, numerous drug paraphernalia items, methamphetamine, and multiple illegally possessed animals for taxidermy purposes.
Maxston was taken to the Noble County Jail and booked on multiple felony charges.
