a few changes in this update

Updated 4/7/2020
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has adjusted services, events and operations to protect Hoosiers and prevent further spread of COVID-19.

Outdoor activities
Outdoor activities, and travel to and from those activities, are still permitted. These include hiking, fishing, boating, birding, hunting, bicycle riding (on paved trails and roads) and geocaching. Beginning April 8, bike use (on unpaved trails) and horseback riding on DNR properties is temporarily suspended.

Hoosiers should follow posted restrictions and practice social distancing.

Good to know our DNR and government are using common sense with regard to hunting, which is the ultimate in "social distancing". Have been reading where some western states have allowed individual counties to shut down spring turkey hunting countywide, while at the same time allowing bikers, hikers, fishing, etc.

the best things one can do right now is get outdoors and away from every one, esp. at these gas prices ;0) .... its nice to live in a repub. controlled state, where freedom still reigns, so to speak .... some states have turned to police state tactics in regards to hunting fishing and exercising/hiking/running/walking, etc. ... my life hasnt changed much over this, I still do my runs, get out and scout/trim locations, etc. ...except going to the store, which is a challenge just to find certain Items .... I'm considered essential, so I am still working .. I do feel sorry for those forced into layoff's or who's jobs may not come back ..
