found a few already. Parke, Montgomery county. ALl yellows. Seems pretty early this year.

This is the second year in a row that we have not found ANY horsenecks. Anyone else experience this?

Putnam, exact same here. And BTW, that's a much nicer name for those than the folks around here use for 'em laugh

Found 4 dried-up yellows today, seems to be pretty much over & done with here in my area.

A few years ago we found way over 100 "horse necks" in one day in just a few patches. But like you say been a few years. I never found the first shroom at all this year

Sticksender - haha... I know what you are referring to. Couldn't bring myself to say @#$%er heads.

Very strange we haven't had any the last 2 years. I remember one year we literally quit picking them because there were so many.

Found this 5" yellow today, only one too. With all this rain predicated the next 3-4 days might make them pop. h.h.

I found these on Saturday. Huge so they were easy to spot, which is good because I suck at finding them so I needed all the help that I could get ... LOL.
