Southern Indiana winter time bass fishing - 02/07/2017 02:30 AM

Did some bass fishing yesterday with a buddy. I had a great time and this is the earliest bass fishing I've ever done. Bite was slow and when they did bite you just felt dead weight and not the usual thump. Ended up with 7 all together all on blue and black jig and pig. This is the biggest I caught. My guess is she weighed close to 6 lbs.

Nice fish! Pig and jig is my favorite early spring and fall bait...it catches the big ones for sure. h.h.

Sweet my cousin has a bign mounted that he caught in February when it was 10 degrees outside but he caught it at turtle creek discharge.
