Ice Fishing Today

Got my gear out and went thru it this morning, headed to the pond by 11:00, fished till 2:30, caught 3 bass and 2 gills and an old sunken log....which took my jig! Im going early tomorrow morning, might call some yotes first and then hit the pond. I measured right at 6" of ice. h.h.

Guy who worked at the bait shop in Ft Wayne told me yesterday that guys are fishing on most channels and small lakes up north.

Ice on my pond was good and hard.

Maybe I will head out early and go north. See if I can buy some wigglers and fish for walleye and gills on a lake that always has first ice. h.h.
