Nice tried today for a little bit caught a small crappie try every year all year ain't caught one for a long time. Use to get into the Hoosier highlands dad has a few tens and multiple eights to his name I had multiple Sixs by the time I was a teenager. Longer story short love a walleye kids grew up fishin farm ponds I grew up on the creek bank love it dp ps we hooked the stringer to our belt loops not waders. Them things are for city boys lol

When I had my Erie boat I liked 3-4 lbs. males the best for eating. Back then the limit was 10 and a guy could get a good mess of fish in a day. A walleye fry is tops in my book.

I saw you this AM on my way to town. Ive caught smallies in that creek up to the old Lafontaine Golf Course. Killer bait is gold/orange/brown rooster tail. h.h.

Yeah....love using spinners too.....one of my favorites is a mepps comet minnow #2 or #3.....today they were slamming an xrap6....they aren't usually that picky though

I got a 20 inch walleye on Saturday. Fishin for white bass and caught a walleye, pretty lucky for me . Can't wait to eat him

Nice my youngest son caught his first fish this weekend. It was an 11" 2.5" wide hybrid bluegill. Was a beast. We also caught some crappie and I caught a bass around 22-23". I'll post pics later.

Fish bite was decent last evening, one 3 lbs walleye, several whitebass and crappie.....wasnt in the cleaning mood so I release all of them. Fun time trolling. h.h.

I went last evening for a few hours and caught 7-8 fish, whitebass, crappie and one channel cat. Full moon right now isnt helping. h.h.

Yeah, we were out last Monday evening, caught several channel cats. Yaz was out all weekend, and caught a few more. Just nothing spectacular to photo. 😎

Matter of fact, I DID sell my boat HH. Didn't get the new one set up and rigged until the better striper fishing was over this spring. Been playing around with the cats and hybrids a little close to home. As soon as the blues and flatheads come off the nest good in Late July and August, I will be after them hard. When it cools back down in Oct./Nov. I'll be after the big stripes again.

And them thumb bitin' sumbeeches don't hold still for no pitchers neither...

Caught 2 eyes tonight, both about the same size 2 lbs or so, one real nice whitebass, two 3-5lbs channels. Let the cats go and kept the eyes and whitebass. Fun time trolling, h.h.

I went this evening and the bite was real slow, few small white bass and one nice large mouth 15 1/2" long. Also saw a 5-6 lbs largemouth floating dead. Still a fun time and much better than sitting home watching TV...... h.h.

Caught this smallie tonight along with a few small whitebass. Bite has been slow for me this year.
