"WHY" does the IDNR hold important meetings such as this one at the far end of the state? Why not hold them at Indy so more people might attend?

I'd like to attend but its a 400 mile round trip and 8 hours of driving for me to do so. If I lived farther north say Angola it would be another 140 miles.

You guys who attend have my admiration and support but do to a long drive I wont be there. h.h.

Internet comments carry the same weight as appearances before the hearing officer. Everyone should comment and if possible go to the hearing. I've been to several meetings where I was the only one there. I've been to a few meetings where I was clearly in the minority. Makes no difference. These are YOUR natural resources that are being ravaged. Stand up and fight. Comment today.

Dale - I'm not likely going to make it. I have church stuff to do tomorrow and a charity gaming report due on Tuesday. I did make email comments to the hearing officer.

Sept 15th at the Children's Museum This is when the Final Vote is Made By The NRC ILL BE AT THIS ONE Jack correct me if I am wrong But this MTG where the final vote is taken is THE Most important piece of process

Next NRC meeting is September 15th at the Indiana State Museum NOT the Children's Museum.

However, I'd be surprised if the Hearing Officer has everything compiled by then. More likely it will be on the agenda for the November 17th meeting.

Keep an eye on the Agenda for September. It should show sometime next week:

P.S. Sorry I missed the meeting. I was dealing with Charity Gaming over our last banquet and sporting clays raffles.
