Kentucky deer hunters set new record in 2015-16 - 12/30/2015 08:21 PM

Kentucky deer hunters will establish a new single season deer kill when the 2015-16 campaign ends with the close of archery season Jan. 18.
“It’s our highest harvest on record which is great,” said state deer program director Gabe Jenkins. “The herd is healthy and deer are reproducing.”

Good to see a state that knows how to let their DNR do what they want instead of letting a few over rule them.

Looks like some are, some are not. Just like Indiana. Funny the guy who said he sees no difference in henry and owen county versus Wolfe and Morgan in Kentucky? Of course he compared heavily hunted wmas with whole counties. Owen county always kills huge numbers. I went up there many times for other reasons and deer are thick as thieves. If I only hunted the median of I-71 I think I could do real well. ......it is state ground, right? Unlimited does has not hurt them much.
