The Deer Reduction Zone season is Sept. 15, 2018 through Jan. 31, 2019. The bag limit for the Deer Reduction Zones is 10 deer, of which only one can be antlered.

Boundaries for traditional Deer Reduction Zones in urban areas are existing roads and waterways including some rural and/or greenspace areas surrounding more developed areas to allow for hunting access.

Thanks for the information. I hadn't checked in years and one of my properties is actually in the zone. Guess that means additional opportunities for me.

The highway deer reduction makes sense. Seems like it will be very difficult to enforce though

The problem with Lake county NW Indiana is that most towns have restrictions on "launching any projectile" in the town ordinances which limits hunting via archery. I used to have private land access on prime ground and since 1 neighbor complained the police began enforcing it... however, no one knew the ordinance existed (including the police) until people complained about people in the woods with compound bows.
