Yep..that's what it states on the tag. We used to take crows to the clerks in Marshall County, and get 50 cents per crow. Not a bad gig for a kid back then.
I actually found my Dad's license in the butt stock of an old Nitro King 12ga. that he had. Seems that "back in the day" they would keep their license in the recessed area under the butt- plate of the gun, thus allowing them to keep their current licenses with them at all times. Two screws held the butt-plate on. One was normally a "phillips-head" screw,,and the other "slotted" head screw,,,large enough for a dime to be used to remove. I noticed a small blueish paper wedged between the stock and butt-plate, and investigated....otherwise I would have never found it.
