I would think it would pull out of a deer going through the thick stuff. It doesn't look like it would "stick" very well.

May work if that barb holds.

Only thing to consider for some is that this electronic device would null and void a P&Y entry.

I think it is illegal to use electronics to retrieve game in Indiana.
